Dublin Townships is a former parliamentary constituency in Ireland, which was represented in Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Irish parliament or Oireachtas. It existed from 1937–1948 in Dublin city. It elected three Teachtaí Dála (TDs) to the Dáil, using the Single Transferable Vote method of proportional representation (PR-STV).
History
The constituency was created in 1937, under the Electoral (Revision of Constituencies) Act 1935, for the 1937 general election.
It succeeded the constituency of Dublin County which was reduced in size. It was abolished under the Electoral (Amendment) Act 1947.
