- Mafia refers to a number of organized crime groups and by extension to any group that unofficially dominates or runs a larger group.
- There is a parlour game called Mafia (game).
- Mafia Island is one of the Tanzanian Spice Islands.
- There is a video game called Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven.
- The Maffia is the alias for the industrial-funk band Tackhead when they support singer Mark Stewart.
- Do not confuse with the MAFF = "Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Fisheries", which was one of Britain's government ministries.
- Do not confuse with raffia which is a pseudo textile made from a leaf.
- Mafia! is a movie.
