Ida is a fictional galaxy in the sci-fi television series Stargate SG-1. It used to be the home galaxy to the Asgard race before they became extinct in the series finale. The only Stargate in the galaxy shown in the series was located on Othala. The only way to get there by Stargate was with an extraordinary amount of power and the eighth coordinate in the address Template:SGGlyph. However, thanks to advances in Earth's hyperdrives by the Asgard, SG-1 has been to Ida many times.
