Plot
J.D. develops appendicitis, and has to spend Thanksgiving as a patient at Sacred Heart Hospital. During his treatment, he is cared for by Elliot and Turk. However, when J.D.'s condition worsens, Turk is the surgeon on-call, and so performs the operation. J.D. realises that Turk is indeed a skilled surgeon, and apologizes to him for doubting him.
Meanwhile, Dr. Cox and Dr. Kelso fight for the attention of Dr. Benson, a retired Chief of Medicine at Sacred Heart Hospital who has returned to the hospital as a patient.
