This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I agree not to: 1. Recreate the Resource center 2. Pursue the identity of User:H

Decline reason:

After reviewing your contributions, I see very little that are positive with much of your previous behavior consisting of significant disruption. Per the indefinite blocks section of Misplaced Pages's blocking policy, I am of the opinion that an indef block was appropriate, and so am declining this request. — Ioeth (talk contribs friendly) 23:47, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Is this a joke?

I've introduced the Barnstar of Peace and devoted most of my time here to the help of otheer users. I was blocked for helping another user! Aside from the H case, what have I done wrong?!? --Defender 911 (Leave a message!) 01:41, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

You were blocked for disruption, not for helping another user. What user were you referring to? --Mark (Mschel) 14:44, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
H. And asking for contact info is NOT disruption. Even if it was, an indefinite block is WAY too strict. --Defender 911 (Leave a message!) 20:31, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
And I said, "Aside from the H case, what have I done wrong?" --Defender 911 (Leave a message!) 20:51, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
You interfered with a fellow user's right to vanish, and it went to the extent of severe harassment. You are not allowed to edit Misplaced Pages under any username because of this at the moment (see WP:BAN). However, see my thread below. Maser 06:02, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

I support unblock

Look, guys, the disruption he caused was quite unwelcome, yes, and he did interfere with a users right to vanish, but I for one think that, after a six month site ban, this user probably learned his lesson. And after viewing his contributions, he was once a valued editor. So long as he promises not to continue to do what got him blocked before, I think we should give him one last chance. A discussion is currently taking place at Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard#User:Defender 911. No administrator should unblock without first consulting that discussion and ensuring a consensus exists to do so. I will leave this talk page unprotected in the meantime so that Defender 911 can add his comments, which can be copied from here to the noticeboard discussion by a not-banned editor. However, abuse of the talk page (including incivility, personal attacks, harassment and use of the {{unblock}} template — an unblock will not/should not be executed without consensus at the discussion, so it will otherwise be forum shopping which is not permissable) by Defender 911 will result in this page being protected from editing and severing the communication link between Defender 911 and the noticeboard. Thank you. I'll look over the noticeboard. --Defender 911 (Leave a message!) 12:34, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

My contributions to my own page were an attempt to help others. I couldn't get the project onto the Misplaced Pages mainspace, so I set it up here. Also: Should a user remain blocked based only on his/her edits? --Defender 911 (Leave a message!) 18:41, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
