Navinchandra Ramgoolam (born July 13, 1947) is the current prime minister of the Republic of Mauritius since July 5 2005. He also was prime minister from 1995 to 2000.
In the July 3 general elections his Mauritian Labour Party beat the Mauritian Militant Movement of then-prime minister Paul Bérenger.
