Jared Drake Bell aka Drake Bell (born June 27, 1986 in Orange County, California) is an American actor and musician. As of 2004, Drake is best known to television audiences as a cast member on The Amanda Show; he also stars in Drake and Josh as "Drake Parker" alongside Amanda Show costar Josh Peck.
Bell is also a singer/songwriter guitarist, and is working on his first album.
He is greatly influenced by British rock & roll legends especially The Beatles and The Who.
Bell is one of the children of professional billiards player Robin Dodson.
Although his first name is Jared, he prefers to use his middle name.
Bell did a guest appearance as himself on Nickelodeon's Zoey 101 which was created by Dan Schneider, who is also the creator of Drake and Josh.
Bell's song "I Found a Way" was co-written with Michael Corcoran and is the theme song for "Drake and Josh".
Bell's much delayed first CD Telegraph will be released on August 23rd of 2005.
