(User talk:Counter-revolutionary/Archive1)

This user is very busy in real life and may not respond swiftly to queries.

McCorkell Line

Apologies for the delay, I've been quite busy in real life and didn't have time to address your concerns. You're quite right about the article, I jumped the gun on deleting it. However, as it stood, it was unfit to be in the mainspace. So, since I believe you were the one who volunteered to clean up the article, I'll restore it to your userspace. That way, you can work on it, and then verify it with myself or another administrator before moving it back into the mainspace. Will User:Counter-revolutionary/McCorkell Line be alright? I'll leave it up to you to contact the other editors working on the article to arrange cooperation. I'll wait for a confirmation from you, and then I'll go ahead and restore the article. Hello

Salutations. I thought you'd left! Regards, David Lauder (talk) 14:25, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

No, still around! Just busy doing a bit of extra-Misplaced Pages writing. Nothing's really caught my attention to edit as late, hopefully will get stuck in once more soon. --Counter-revolutionary (talk) 14:28, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

Politics

You are doing some good work on the political pages. Chelsea Tory (talk) 12:15, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks. I'm currently moving house and as a result was going through some old albums I had (from the good old days), thought it would cheer up the articles a bit. --Counter-revolutionary (talk) 12:25, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
I liked your edit today on List of Northern Ireland Members of the House of Lords but it seems to contradict the opening paragraph. I meant to indicate that if someone was Lord Saintfield it did not mean that he "represented" Saintfield but the wording isn't great. Perhaps you could reword the whole par? Peter Clarke (talk) 14:23, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. Will have a go! --Counter-revolutionary (talk) 15:24, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

Hello

You might like to check User talk:Major Bonkers#For no reason at all and follow up some of the links. As a well-known anti-semite, racist, etc., etc. I seem to have been mistaken for a pro-IRA left-wing polenta-eating trendy!--Major Bonkers (talk) 12:50, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

You might also like to check out the history of this clear sock-puppet's contributions: User:Ginggangsgoolies and then look at Vintagekits contributions history for the first three weeks in December. Surely this is a blatant violation of 'The Troubles' Arbcom? What is your view on this? Regards, David Lauder (talk) 21:47, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Cute of you to think of me dearest Lauder. However, that aint me. If you can prove any link with my account and I will happily hang up my boots. Sweet dreams.--Vintagekits (talk) 22:03, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Thanks, David. I raised this point at the time but no one seemed to pay any attention. As he says himself, banned 20 times and still going! --Counter-revolutionary (talk) 00:50, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
You know it!--Vintagekits (talk) 08:51, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Well, it might be a proud boast, but there's a warning here, ho hum. If you really want to make some mischief, you can add an AfD tag to Tony Geraghty!--Major Bonkers (talk) 11:47, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Pictures

Sorry to bother you. You've been doing grand work supplying the pictures. Unfortunately there is a troublesome editer with an anti-conservative political bent User:Relata refero‎ who is messing around with articles to suit his stance. No sources, of course, just opinions. We need to keep a close eye on his activities. Chelsea Tory (talk) 08:27, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Yes, thanks for pictures, I reworked one for another article as well, and shifted some of them to the Wikimedia Commons, since you were good enough to release them under the appropriate license.
I'd rather people didn't form conclusions about my political bent in the absence of any evidence. Also, assuming that this imaginary partisanship is causing me to 'mess around' is known as assuming bad faith, is considered a no-no, and I trust nobody we know would be guilty of that.
