John Henry Johnson is a former Major League Baseball player, born on August 21, 1956 in Houston, Texas. He was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 15th round of the 1974 amateur draft. He made his Major League debut for the Oakland A's in 1978 after being acquired before the season in the trade that sent Vida Blue to the Giants.
