They are supposed to come out with a new album called ], but thats been delayed over a year and they have been dropped by Interscope. Times have changed, Guns 'n Roses is no longer the band of the moment, and metal is no longer as popular. Realistically, this album will likely do quite poorly in sales compared to other GnR albums and most new releases, and no majour label wants to take the risk of investing money in something this risky. Chinese Democracy is 8 years too late.

Then Izzy quits and is replaced by Gilby Clarke. Guns n' Roses go on a 28 month long world tour including the Freddy Mercury tribute. While this is happening "November Rain" is the most requested video on MTV and eventually wins a VMA for best cinematography.
