I added two references. — As to the other issue, there seems to be reasonable interest in some of the more specific topics that may look unlikely at first sight if the context is right, e.g., the recent interest in Burger (100-200/day), the "lucky strike" with AFK that you started (a steady stream of 10-20 since two points turned up that could be meaningfully cross-listed in a couple of frequented places), quite a few of the geo pages that don't automatically seem "major" topics (BB 100-150; Poprad 50-60; Gerlach 50-90), the anthem (40/day for months) etc. Most ultrabroad topics like "the history / society / culture / nature... of X" look like hack jobs − written and rewritten by too many, contested, unmanageable. ] (]) 05:19, 22 March 2008 (UTC) I added two references. ] (]) 05:19, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
==Dear my Slovák friend==
Dear MarkBA!
why you are not on the Marián Kotleba's seminar than ''otec'' Tankréd ?

I am very concerned about Slovak topics and editors, when we are marked as inferior editors from some users.

OK Štrba and ŠP

Good that you fixed that, I was partly just rewording (obviously dated) info that already was at ŠP; a good link at Štrba, too. ilmari (talk) 22:01, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Hello friend

The Slovak Ribbon of National Merit
I, Baldy, award you this SLovak National Merit Award for your work on Slovakian related articles. ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ 22:50, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Remember those old days of working together?? How is life in SLovakia? Time goes so quickly -it feel slike only a week or two it was November 2006 again!!! You must be nearly 16 by now aren;t you? Great to see all this time you have done much to improve coverage of SLovakia on wikipedia!!! ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ 22:50, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi there. Although I don't know if you are reading talk pages often, well, thanks for praise. But one is true - although much has changed, and some articles got recognition, overall, it hasn't been without troubles. MarkBA 23:01, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

COuld you elaborate a little? What difficulties have you been encountering? ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ 13:04, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Mostly Hungarians (although it sounds unbelievable). Unfortunately it's a reality - from what I know these conflicts have been dragging on for years, sometimes more, sometimes less intense. Of course it isn't widespread in the sense of all areas, but it can be a nuisance. But still, this doesn't stop the general improvement - Bratislava is an FA now, Banská Bystrica and Gerlachovský štít are GAs, and others were improved (but I think some could go into GAs soon). You have probably noticed that I'm writing Slovak authors and poets right now and so we have met again. Cheers, MarkBA 13:30, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

I find that unusual. Hungarian editors are pestering you? Well I can assure you have nothing to worry about and I;m certain most other editors feel the same that you are much appreciated in this project. I thought you wer eonly into towns and transport -I didn't realise you also wrote biogrpahies -your're something of a polymath like myself. I added an image to Ján Chalupka anyway to keep you happy ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ 16:10, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Not constantly; as said, however, it can be a nuisance keeping them at bay. So you see - I primarily write about towns (now not so much about transport, but sometimes I do), but I'm also interested in geography in general, and a bit of history and biographies. Thank you for adding the image; I don't know much about fair use so I don't mess with it. MarkBA 16:23, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

A query. Can you make sense of Zeleno zvono? I thought it was Slovak but I might be mistaken ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ 16:26, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

From the content, I assume it's Serbian. It is for sure an advertisement MarkBA 16:38, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Well i could see it wasnt czech. Give me a bell if you need images to illustrate your articles on people ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ 17:23, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Let's try... As for now I'd be glad if some images (whether fair use or free) for: Jozef Ignác Bajza and Ladislav Nádaši-Jégé. The latter may be bit more complicated (well when you made such an offer...). MarkBA 17:31, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Cool! ilmari (talk) 16:34, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
