'''Purpose of World's Oldest People WikiProject''':

The purpose of WikiProject: World's Oldest People is to establish a room in Misplaced Pages for us to better organize the article we edit and taking part in human longevity and supercentenarian biographical articles.

For example, suppose one of our articles were nominated for AfD. The illogical thing to do, would be to canvass and votestack. We will use our talk page for updates and in-real-time events.

This is also a place to go to (our talk) if any of the below articles has an issue that needs our attention.

WikiProject and Misplaced Pages Admins

Admins are not encouraged to join our group, but are actually encouraged to moderate our group, and make sure we behave and follow Misplaced Pages policies. Some of us have a tendency to break, Misplaced Pages policies (our group leader has an indefinite block, for example). Additionally, if 1 of our members is seen violating a Misplaced Pages policy, aside from WP:ANI, this is also a place to report it (our talk page).

Assessment

Misplaced Pages:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/World's Oldest People articles by quality statistics

Articles We Cover

We cover biographies of supercentenarians (that's someone whom lived to the age of 110.0). Additionally, we cover people whom are 2 years below the age of the oldest verified person in the world, except we don't go below 110 if the oldest verified person in the world is above 110. For example, if the oldest person in the world is 109, then we will cover down to 107, but if the oldest person in the world is at record like it was in 1997, at 122, we will still cover biographies down to 110.

Global.

U.S.

Historical.

Additionally, at our discretion will we cover a centenarian if we feel the necessity in response to age validation.
