Livanates (Template:Lang-el) is a seaside town (population in 2001: 3,023) in the prefecture of Phthiotis, central Greece. It is located 68km southeast of Lamia and is the seat of the municipality of Dafnousia. Kynos, an ancient settlement site, can be found at the edge of the town. Other notable sites are 'Agioi Theodoroi', a small byzantine church which is an alleged site of Krifo scholio, and the monasteries of 'Metamorphosis tou Sotiros' and 'Agia Triada'.
