I happen to live right by an abandoned portion of the parkway in East Williston/Albertson, in Nassau. I could go on there and take pictures of it, if it qualifies to be listed in Misplaced Pages. :/

Map

It has a map. Is there a problem with the existing map that one should say that it has no map at all? RussNelson (talk) 14:24, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

So what still exists?

Much information is from . This is a list of known pavement and bridge remnants, not right-of-way.

  • paved trail with 4 bridges (and original pavement?), I-495 to Winchester (cut by I-295)
  • possible original pavement east from Lakeville Road to NSP
  • bridge on Old Courthouse north of Executive
  • possible original pavement on both sides of Willis Avenue
  • possible original pavement north of Westbury Avenue
  • short piece of original pavement at north end of Raymond Court
  • "deadman's curve" accessible from south end of North Herman Avenue; not sure if there's pavement but it's banked
  • bridge in Old Bethpage Village Restoration?? where exactly is this bridge?
  • bridge abutments east of Maxess Road
