When contributing to Misplaced Pages, I will serve no master but the good of the project. I will be neutral in all things. Allegiances to any nation, religion, philosophy, ego, or group of editors are all meaningless to me. I will judge ideas on their merits rather than on where they came from. I will not be afraid to disagree with others out of loyalty or friendship. There is the encyclopedia, and nothing else. A Wikipedian pledge: When contributing to Misplaced Pages, I will serve no master but the good of the project.

What I do here: I do not delete but try to improve all articles. If an editor needs a nudge in the right direction, I try to give it. I also try to promote goodwill.

Imagine a world in which every single person on the planet is given free access to the sum of all human knowledge. That's what we're doing. -- Jimmy Wales, Misplaced Pages founder.

I have retired from teaching political science and economics at a top University. I believe that Misplaced Pages should contain the sum of all human knowledge (even material I do not agree with) but we should not promote our own views! In the honest pursuit of Knowledge we will not go far wrong!

This 11th century Greek image of Jesus is one of many in which a sun cross halo is used. Such depictions are characteristic of Eastern Orthodox iconography.

"Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you." Jesus Christ
