Optus
I'm certain Rob.au is correct. The correct title for the cited article is in fact 'MANAGEMENT DISCUSSION AND ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL CONDITION, RESULTS OF OPERATIONS AND CASH FLOWS FOR THE FOURTH QUARTER AND FINANCIAL YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2008', and shouldn't be changed. I think copying the use of the CAPITAL LETTERS is something we can do without :) -- Longhair\ 18:38, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
- No, your advice is not wrong. Singapore Telecommunications Limited And Subsidiary Companies (which you inserted into the article) is who authored the report, the report title is the longer in CAPS just after. -- Longhair\ 18:55, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
- As per Longhair's comments, what you changed it to is not the title of the document. There's no style issue here - a citation is a citation. Not only is there no need to shorten it, but you can't... I've never heard of it being okay and WP:CITE only talks about giving "full citations". You can see the document's position in context on the Optus Site or the SingTel Site. Obviously you had a fair point about the ALLCAPS and I maintained your change to Title Case when correcting the citation back to the correct title. -- Rob.au (talk) 02:00, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
