The '''Kingdom of EnenKio''', its short name being EnenKio, is a sovereign nation which was first conceived in 1987. It began to emerge in 1993, was formally established in 1994, Murjel Hermios became the first Monarch of EnenKio. Following his death in December 1998, his brother Remios became second Monarch. The government of EnenKio is determined to peacefully regain occupation of Eneen-Kio Atoll to benefit the king, EnenKio citizens, and any persons who desire freedom from oppressive political or social systems. It is not recognized in any international forum as a sovereign state nor is it a corporate or statutory entity. "E-n-e-n-K-i-o" is a spelling derived from the native name of the northernmost Marshallese atoll, Eneen-Kio Atoll, which was also once written as Enen-kio, the name Eneen-Kio(or EnenKio) means: "Island of the orange flower" in the Marshallese language. The Eneen-Kio Atoll (three main islands- Peale I.,Wake I.and Wilkes I.) comprises a total area approximately 6.60 sq.mi. Situated approximately 2300 statute miles west of the ], U.S. and 2000 miles from ]. The nearest island neighbor is Bok-ak Atoll of the Marshalls group, some 300 miles to the south.
