While we've never worked with each other, I have a few words of wisdom: Don't be afraid to reach out to people you've only known through the internet. The roughest patch of my life was made bearable because of an online friend. As anonymous and impersonal as the internet can be, I find it can be a wonderful way to be honest and truly express oneself. Even though the people around you may seem boneheaded and arrogant in debates, there really is a lot of good out there, and it's not hard to find.
