Lee Strobel, a former legal editor for the Chicago Tribune, is a Christian apologist and former teaching pastor of Willow Creek Community Church. He has written several books, including:

Additionally, Strobel hosts a television program called Faith Under Fire shown on PAX TV.
For a part of his life, Strobel was an atheist. That period of his life ended with his conversion to Christianity in 1981, which was influenced by his wife who Converted to Christianity before Strobel. He often claims that his journalistic and legal background allowed him to evaluate claims by contemporary theological authorities and biblical scholars.
