Markus Beyer (born April 28, 1971 in Erlabrunn) is a German born boxer at super middleweight, who resides in Cologne, Germany. He represented his native country at the 1996 Summer Olympics, in the light middleweight division. He also competed in the Barcelona Games of 1992, and won a bronze medal at the 1995 World Amateur Boxing Championships in Berlin.

- 1988 East German Featherweight Champion, won the Junior European Flyweight Championship in Gdansk, Poland beating Zoltan Lunka (Romania) in the final.
- 1989 2nd place at the Junior World Championship in Bayamon, Puerto Rico as a Featherweight
- 1992 competed at the Barcelona Olympics as a Light Middleweight. Results were:

Beyer was a three-time WBC super middleweight champion, lost his title via third-round knockout to WBA super middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler on 14 October 2006 in a unification fight.
