If you lived in the area of this road you would no that it is notable in the fact that it is useful to use to avoid the snarl up that is Cromer during the summer months and is used a great deal. If you are not local then this page is useful in that it can help in the planning of a journey. To the person responsible for the re-direction of this page, it would be common courtesy to contact the page creator to voice you concern before taking the actions you have, Misplaced Pages is not your personnel web encyclopaedia project. stavros1 ♣
- Misplaced Pages talk:Notability (Transportation) states the below points and I refer to the point higlighted green:
Streets/Roads
The following types of streets and roads, numbered or not, would have inherent notability
- A limited-access highway
- A non-limited access highway that is the main route connecting two or more cities or towns
- A non-limited access highway that backs up a limited access highway connecting two or more cities or towns, and is used by motorists for that purpose
- A large commercial boulevard
- A major street in the center of a large city
- The main street or road in a town or suburb that is above all the rest
- A street or road that plays a role in popular culture (such as being featured in a movie)
In the case of the B1436 Road this backs up the limitations placed on the A140 and the A148/A149 by the one way system that operates in Cromer
- If you have to resort to splitting hairs, then you're doing it wrong. "Useful diversion" is not notable, as it does not separate this road from thousands of other "useful diversions". 217.36.107.9 (talk) 11:20, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
