House of Schaffgotsch
Vielen Dank!!! --B.Vetter (talk) 12:58, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
Piast Rulers
Hi Karasek, I just read your comment, thanks for the support I tried to do my best. About the names of the Silesian rulers, I followed the work of other wikipedists who used the same way to named is articles (name in english and his translations in Polish and German in some cases). I hope that wouldn't be a problem to other members of the comunity. Good loook and sory for my bad english !!!! Aldebaran69 (talk) 19:44, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
post-war Breslau
This will most certainly be of interest for you: . Maybe you can use some in your Silesian articles, if it is not there already. Regards Skäpperöd (talk) 17:46, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing.
You reverted 5 times today already], please undo your last edit, otherwise I will have to report you tomorrow, we all have to play by the rules. Thanks--Jacurek (talk) 07:12, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

A word of advice
XIX century sources from German Empire about Poland are generally not reliable and should be avoided. Also remember that Wiki is for presenting what is written on the subject. You can't really write that author X is wrong or "this is wrong". You can write that "author x claims author y is wrong". I also started a thread on the subject of using XIX century sources You are welcome to comment. --MyMoloboaccount (talk) 11:58, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
Silesia as part of HRE
Dear Karasek, please refrain from false pretence, that Silesia as part of Lands of the Crown of Saint Wenceslaus was direct part of Holy Roman Empire and thus official language was German. Till circa 1700 was official language in Lands of Bohemia only Czech. Relation between HRE and Bohemia was really different from relations between HRE and other principalities, as Bohemia was not in any "Circle", courts of HRE weren't over courts of Bohemia, nobles of HRE weren't nobles in Bohemia etc. So, between princes in Silesia and Empire was government in Prague.
Your second pretence was, that official language of HRE was German. Of course, not, official was Latin (see for example Golden Bull of 1356 in Latin).
So, please, stop from changing names in articles about Silesia with false arguments.--Yopie (talk) 18:45, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
