Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thrindel

I don't claim to understand his motives for silencing newcomers, but there are some rumours that Thrindel is in fact Tim Buckley, and that he uses the account to keep criticism of CAD to a minimum. Don't cite me on that though, or I'll be attacked again with warnings about WP:OUTING. I can't link you to the page, but the article on EncyclopediaDramatica.com about Tim Buckley has some information, as well as links to other people who have figured it out. In between the exaggeration and vulgarity, they say "Since his last account got ratted out, Tim Buckley now posts on Misplaced Pages now as "Thrindel", still attempting to keep the Ctrl+alt+del page clean of anything that might offend the e-peen he saves for the kiddies. His user page, and equally shitty webcomic page is a regular target of vandalism, however, owing to his pathetic existence he relentlessly purges any edits to both pages within minutes. The immense amount of butthurt he has received has led Wiki admins who somehow love the crapfest that is CAD, to come to his assistance to protect his ego." I suggest you don't try to prove it to anyone though, or you'll be warned by him about outing like I was.
