The following is a proposed Misplaced Pages policy, guideline, or process. The proposal may still be in development, under discussion, or in the process of gathering consensus for adoption.

This page is intended to summarise the current (as of October 2008) state of biographical metadata on Misplaced Pages. Where such data exists, what tools are available to extract and use it, and what systems are in place to synchronise, update and extend existing data.

Examples of biographical metadata include:

  • Date of birth
  • Date of death
  • Surname and given names
  • Gender
  • Relationships (marriages and genealogy)
  • Location of grave or other resting place (see Geographical coordinates)
