However, he was earlier seen in December 2001 talking to Dot and Jim right after Dot returned from a visit to Nigel. He has performed his vicarly duties since then, which have included the conduction of ]'s ], and performing ] and ]'s wedding ceremony that was crashed by ]. He also occasionally appeared when Dot attended church meetings and suchlike. He was replaced off-screen by Reverend Stevens.
