| Cody Weever (played by Chad Eschman) grew up a spoiled and pampered child who loved films. His mother (Diane Tasca) acceeded to all his demands. When Cody became an adult, he decided he wanted to be the ] and ] of his own film. His mother decided that wish was excessive and refused to fund the project, leaving Cody resentful and complaining. At the same time, and much to his dismay, an unconfirmed rumour begins to spread in Cody's small affluent town of Buck Valley that the beautiful but untalented ] heiress Jasmin Darnell (Christina Rosenberg) was to star in Cody's film. The residents of town react to the news by confronting Cody, and one by one lobbying to be a part of the film. His ego and ambition overpower Cody, and he allows the people of the town to distract and encourage him. Finally, and after significant personal compromise, Cody succeeds in convincing Jasmine to appear be in film. | |||
