Three 6 Mafia is a American hip hop musical group from Memphis, Tennessee. Originally called "Backyard Posse", the group has included many members (including Gangsta Blac, Gangsta Boo, La Chat, Koopsta Knicca, and Urban AKA). The group now consists of Crunchy Blac, Lord Infamous, Juicy J, DJ Paul, and Urban AKA, the latter two being the in-house producers. They are best known for their gruesome lyrics, extolling drugs, pornography, and violence. They are the first rap artists from Memphis to go platinum. Kronikk founded this group in 1992.
