For Thais (Template:Lang-th, Puea Thai Party, PTP) is a Thai political party founded in September 2008 when it became clear that the People's Power Party, itself a backup party for former PM Thaksin Shinawatra's Thai Rak Thai, would likely be dissolved by the Constitutional Court of Thailand, which did in fact occur on 2 December 2008. The party is set to be joined by most, if not all PPP MPs which were not barred from politics and is expected to continue the political direction of TRT and PPP. It will elect its executive on 7 December 2008, one day before a new PM is set to be voted on. Possible candidates for leader of the party are rumored to be: Apiwan Wiriyachai (Vice President of the House of Representatives), health minister Chalermm Yoobamrung and industry minister Mingkwan Saengsuwan.
