Oh, well, probably everybody spotted it and nobody else thought it worth refuting.. I was promptly advised on IRC against having a battle of wits with an unarmed man woman, by a user who is something of an expert on that subject, so I think I'll merely ignore if I see any more attacks on that kind of level. Sorry, Zilla isn't used to closing stuff, she doesn't know from the right templates and stuff. And she tends to get overenthusiastic with the roaring when she tries. I've given my opinion.. I'd rather not discuss my personal opinion of which of the two users is the more trustworthy; but I assume you're aware that some blocks are more well-founded than others. Anyway, if you follow my advice above and read the links on the page I refer to, you will see that they link chiefly to posts by FT2, not by Peter Damian. I haven't read it all, but all I understand from it is that PD doesn't like FT2, and I already knew that. Since I am looking for evidence of FT2 behaving badly towards PD, I went ahead to section "FT2 personal attacks", subsection "On Damian" with three links. shows FT2 asking that the case about unblocking PD should be taken on-wiki instead of secretly. That seems resonable if there is no private information given the complaints when ArbCom decides anything in secret. is FT2 presenting evidence against Hinnibilis (PD). I see nothing wrong there either. Did I miss some especially harsh word? is about HeadleyDown not PD, only "In fact, had Damian done his work, he would have found the following existing pages". --Apoc2400 (talk) 16:26, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

Arghh.. I'm sorry, I don't mean to sound impatient, but I just don't have the time or inclination to re-read and pick out exerpts from those long posts. I have stuff to do. Thanks for watching out for me

It's nice to know others keep an eye :-). However, as it turns out, that charming IP editor is a longtime unregistered contributor who I suspect most admins would recognise under his old IP of 68.39.174.238. His dumb ISP caused a forced "rename" last week, so now he doesn't have his 23,000-edit history attached anymore. Poor guy, now all the hugglers and twinklers are going to start calling his edits "vandalism" again; I think the software programmers had put his old IP on the "ignore" list. Thanks again.
