The MediaWiki software that runs Misplaced Pages is under constant development. Do you want to see the latest, greatest features? Then head over to test.wikipedia.org, where the development branch is tested. But be careful. That wiki runs in debugging mode, so even the smallest problem in the code might cause it to spew out error messages. Take a look at the list of features under development in the MediaWiki roadmap. MediaWiki already is one of the most feature-rich wiki engines; see the MediaWiki feature list. MediaWiki and its dependencies are open source, so if you are the inquisitive type, please take a look at the code and help improve it.

Koreans

FYI, I've unprotected Koreans a few hours early after a request on WP:RFPP. One of the users involved in the dispute was blocked indefinitely as a sock, so I suspect the issue is resolved. Thanks, - auburnpilot talk 16:44, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

I dont understand why you locked the Tamkea Cottle page. There isnt a dispute. The info I added is sourced so why did you delete it? It seems like you're siding with pink's edits. There is an ANI on this user who has attempted to out User:Syntacticus. I understand that you are willing to make difficult decisions. I recently watched the film "Missing" with Jack Lemmon, and was trying to find information on the book that it was adapted from. I noticed that you had deleted the page on "The Execution of Charles Horman" due to patent nonsense. Was there any valuable information on there you could possibly restore?

Reverted your edit

I have reverted your edit to An Exceptionally Simple Theory of Everything. Be advised that there was already a lengthy discussion on the talk page of the article, in which it was determined that the quote was a needless appeal to authority and taken out of context. I have invited parties to provide a meaningful and accurate context for the quote. (Reading the article, it is about the politics of string theory: but I bet you didn't know that.) Hi Jossi, I see you're doing a bit of cleanup in this policy. I wonder though, if this edit might not narrow the applicability of the policy a bit too much, as I've seen people pilloried for affiliations that fall outside of the groups you've identified. Rod Machado for deletion

The article I have created, Rod Machado is up for deletion. I feel that it is encyclopedic content for the acclaimation his books have received which, in my eye shows notability. Comments like this don't help - blocks shouldn't be used as a 'rap sheet', they're for stopping disruptive edits, and generally don't have lasting effects beyond the period of the block. Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry (talk) 01:09, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

Follow up question

Hi, I'd like to ask you a few more question.

What do you think of Cirt? It seems like you and him have quite a history. From the evidence others provided so far I see you and Cirt have went as far as revert waring. There also seems to be evidence of wikihounding or wikistalking which falls under Misplaced Pages:Harassment. Have you considered using WP:DR in dealing with Cirt?

I am not vouching for Cirt or any other editor and would like to hear your perspective on the matter.

I haven't started collecting evidence for the most part as I have been giving Misou and Shrampes the time to reply to my questions. I think they have completely stopped editing so I will start collecting evidence starting this Sunday. So your answers may influence the course of that.
