Homer is a village located in Cortland County, New York, USA . As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 3,368.
The Village of Homer lies mostly within the Town of Homer except for a small section on the south side which is in the Town of Cortlandville.
History
Amos Todd, Rhoda Beede, and Joseph Beede founded the community in 1791. The village was incorporated in 1835.
