Today AGV helmets and AGV Sports Group are two completely autonomous companies, one Italian and one American. In 1978 AGV USA, a division of Intersport, Inc. located in Maryland, became the official importer of AGV Helmets for the United States. In 1985 AGV SpA assumed the distribution rights in the US.
