Seven News is the name of the Seven Network's news service. Its flagship bulletin is broadcast at 6:00pm every night, with a separate bulletin for each of the five metropolitan markets. The Seven Network also produces a number of bulletins aired in regional Queensland under the name Seven Local News. Seven News is in direct competition with rival Channel Nine's National Nine News. In 2005 Seven News became the market leader, beating Channel Nine in the national TV ratings.
