Chuck Missler is an author, Bible teacher, and founder of the Koinonia House ministry based out of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Biography

Missler was born and raised in Southern California. He was unable to complete doctoral work in electrical engineering at Stanford University due to a Congressional appointment to the United States Naval Academy. Following graduation he spent time in the United States Air Force completing flight training and becoming Branch Chief of the Department of Guided Missiles.

Missler enjoyed major business success until a merger fell through causing him and his wife to lose their home, automobiles, and insurance. He notes that this was the time of his life causing him to turn to God and the Bible. He led Bible studies at Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, California, starting the Koinonia House ministry in 1973.

He and his family have since moved to Idaho where Missler devotes his time entirely to the ministry.

Theology

Missler holds to a conservative method of Christian theology. He thrives on expositional teaching through the Bible; verse by verse, chapter by chapter, and book by book. His background in engineering and mathematics contributes heavily to his teaching on the Bible describing cosmic codes within the Scriptures and holding to the idea that the Bible is an "integrated message system from outside our time domain" by "telling us history in advance."

Education

Missler is a Naval Academy graduate. After his military service, he transitioned to the private sector of business and technology, holding prominent positions with several large companies including TRW, Ford Motor Company, and Automatic Data Processing. During this time he completed a Master's degree at the University of California Los Angeles in engineering to supplement his education in applied mathematics, advanced statistics, and information sciences.

In 1999, Chuck Missler earned his Ph.D. from Louisiana Baptist University, an unacredited institution. He combines a background in intelligence, cryptanalysis, and informational sciences with over 30 years of Biblical teaching and research.
