Anwar Wagdi (Template:Lang-ar) was a Syrian actor, writer, director and producer (b.11 October 1914 - d.14 May 1955).

He played the leading roles in many Egyptian films in the 1940s and 50s, and was married to Leila Mourad and they were divorced before his death

Anwar Wagdi died at 51 of polycystic kidney disease.
