Susan Hutchison is the executive director of the Charles Simonyi Fund for the Arts and Sciences and is currently running for King County Executive in the state of Washington. Hutchison is also a former news anchor for KIRO-TV in Seattle.
Early life and education
Susan Hutchison graduated from Annandale High School in Annandale, Virginia in 1972 and continued her education at University of Florida where she graduated in 1976 with a degree in broadcast journalism

Personal
Susan has been married 33 years to her high school sweetheart, Andy, a former Marine Corps Colonel and they reside in Seattle with their two teenage sons who have been educated in public schools. They are active members of Seattle's University Presbyterian Church. She enjoys sculling on Lake Washington, skiing, and travel. She is an art enthusiast and painter.
