The 2006 NHL Entry Draft will be the 44th NHL Entry Draft. It is set to be hosted at GM Place in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

This was announced by commissioner Gary Bettman at the 2005 NHL Entry Draft just before the Canucks made their 1st selection in the draft.
