Re your message: I suggested that you bring up the issues you have with the article on the talk page because then you can discuss the issue with other interested editors on fixing specific things. If you bring it up, somebody will likely respond to you and work with you regarding the issues that you bring up. As for why the Muslim article is protected, since I was not involved in setting the protection, I don't have an opinion on it.
