Both solar and terrestrial radiation is absorbed by the atmosphere, but the bulk of the sun's energy comes to us at wavelengths where the atmosphere does not absorb (except it does scatter blue - which is why the sky is blue, and sunsets - light excluding blue are red). | |||

Speedy deletion of Kleroteria
