The Man with the Golden Gun is a James Bond novel by Ian Fleming. The manuscript was discovered after his death, and edited by Kingsley Amis before publication.

The title character is Francisco Scaramanga, a high-priced assassin and adversary of Bond.

The Man with the Golden Gun is also the 9th James Bond film, released in 1974, with a plot very loosely based on the book. The movie stars Roger Moore as James Bond, Christopher Lee as Francisco Scaramanga, Britt Ekland and Maude Adams.
