== OrphanReferenceFixer: Help on reversion ==
Hi there! I check pages listed in ] to try to fix reference errors. Recently, you <span class="plainlinks"></span> my fix to ].

If you did this because the references should be removed from the article, you have misunderstood the situation. Most likely, the article originally contained both <code><nowiki><ref name="foo">...</ref></nowiki></code> and one or more <code><nowiki><ref name="foo"/></nowiki></code> referring to it. Someone then removed the <code><nowiki><ref name="foo">...</ref></nowiki></code> but left the <code><nowiki><ref name="foo"/></nowiki></code>, which results in a <strong class="error">big red error</strong> in the article. I replaced one of the remaining <code><nowiki><ref name="foo"/></nowiki></code> with a copy of the <code><nowiki><ref name="foo">...</ref></nowiki></code>; I ''did not'' re-insert the reference to where it was deleted, I just replaced one of the ''remaining'' instances. What you need to do to fix it is to make sure you remove '''all''' instances of the named reference so as to not leave any <strong class="error">big red error</strong>.

If you reverted because I made an actual mistake, please be sure to also correct any reference errors in the page so I won't come back and make the same mistake again. Also, please post an error report at ] so my operator can fix me! If the error is so urgent that I need to be stopped, also post a message at ]. Thanks! ]] 22:10, 18 May 2010 (UTC) <small style="color:#888">If you do not wish to receive this message in the future, add {{tlx|bots|2=optout=AnomieBOT-OrphanReferenceFixer}} to your talk page.</small>

Diablo II

Re your edits to Diablo II - don't use original research on wikipedia. Find sources to the contrary and add to the section. The fact is, many users (including myself :)) have troubles under Leopard and the media reflects this. If there are workarounds, that doesn't nullify the fact that there are problems to be worked around. Joshua Gross 22:06, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

Daunte Culpepper

Look, get your facts straight and yourself organized, the statement that you made is false for the time being and the "source" that you have to back it up is completely useless. So please stop reverting my and other's edits which are correct. Thank You --Phbasketball6 (talk) 21:25, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

At Misplaced Pages, we don't group matters in "Controversy" sections, but rather they are woven into the article body. Please do not change this in the Reggie Bush article again. Thanks. QueenofBattle (talk) 20:10, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

September 2009

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Arcade Middle School has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Misplaced Pages. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Misplaced Pages. I removed the following link(s): http://twitter.com/arcade_spartans, http://twitter.com/arcade_spartans (matching the regex rule \btwitter\.com\b). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Misplaced Pages's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 06:36, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

Talk:Anthropogenic global warming

Thank you for your contributions to the encyclopedia! In case you are not already aware, an article to which you have recently contributed, Anthropogenic global warming, is on article probation. A detailed description of the terms of article probation may be found at Misplaced Pages:General sanctions/Climate change probation. Also note that the terms of some article probations extend to related articles and their associated talk pages.

The above is a templated message. Please accept it as a routine friendly notice, not as a claim that there is any problem with your edits. Thank you. -- TS 21:56, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

OrphanReferenceFixer: Help on reversion

Hi there! I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. Recently, you reverted my fix to Alice Sebold.

If you did this because the references should be removed from the article, you have misunderstood the situation. Most likely, the article originally contained both <ref name="foo">...</ref> and one or more <ref name="foo"/> referring to it. Someone then removed the <ref name="foo">...</ref> but left the <ref name="foo"/>, which results in a big red error in the article. I replaced one of the remaining <ref name="foo"/> with a copy of the <ref name="foo">...</ref>; I did not re-insert the reference to where it was deleted, I just replaced one of the remaining instances. What you need to do to fix it is to make sure you remove all instances of the named reference so as to not leave any big red error.

If you reverted because I made an actual mistake, please be sure to also correct any reference errors in the page so I won't come back and make the same mistake again. Also, please post an error report at User talk:AnomieBOT so my operator can fix me! If the error is so urgent that I need to be stopped, also post a message at User:AnomieBOT/shutoff/OrphanReferenceFixer. Thanks!
