vBulletin (sometimes abbreviated vB) is a commercial Internet forum package. It is often used to run larger boards and discussion communities. The software is written in PHP, with a MySQL database backend.
It is produced by Jelsoft Enterprises.
Other commonly-used packages include phpBB and Invision Power Board, to which vB is often compared.
