Júlio César Soares Espíndola (born September 3, 1979) is a Brazilian footballer who plays goalkeeper for Internazionale. He was born in Rio de Janeiro and played for much of his whole career for the local Flamengo. However, he joined Internazionale in August 2005 and has since replaced Francesco Toldo as first choice goalkeeper for Inter due to his great performances.

He has played 7 times for the Brazilian National Team, having won the Copa América in 2004.
