Kat Dennings (born June 13, 1986) is an American actress.

Dennings was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She began her acting career in a 2000 episode the HBO series Sex and the City. Since then she has acted in a number of television shows and movies, including the 2005 film The 40-Year-Old Virgin.

She also appeared as the character "Zoey" on several episodes of ER in 2005 and 2006.

In a strange coincidence, she played the daughter of Bob Saget’s character in the 2001 television show Raising Dad. Dennings shares the birth date and year of Mary Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen who both played Saget’s daughter Michelle on the television show Full House.

In some movies she carried a strong resemblance and was even confused with Hillary Duff.
