Zhanna Friske (born July 8, 1974 in Moscow, Russia) is a Russian actress, singer and beau-monde media personality.
Her notoriority started when she joined the all-girl pop band Blestyashchie (i.e., "Shining Girls", also known as "The Brilliants"), where she soon found herself in a superior position being taller, better dancer, and more attractive than the rest of the girl-singers. Friske soon took off and started singing solo, modeling and enjoying strong media interest, not unlike Paris Hilton in the US. Much of this attention is based on her natural beauty, scandalous sexual escapades and public appearances in risky outfits.
She is known to American public for her roles in the Night Watch trilogy. She starred in both Night Watch and Day Watch movies, based on the original novel. Despite the fact that her 20-minute lovemaking segment was edited from the movie by its director Timur Bekmambetov, she agreed to continue starring in the final part of the trilogy. It's also roumored that she insisted and performed all difficult movie stunts herself, thanks to the outstanding physical condition.
She is rumoured to have been linked to a number of new-Russian tycoons, but always tries to keep her personal life outside of media limelight.
