The Scout Network, is a section of the Scout Association in the United Kingdom for 18 to 25 year olds, introduced in 2003 part replacing Venture Scouts (which was for 15 to 19 year olds). Network Scouting has the operational responsibility of the Scout County.
There are several awards available in the Network Scout Section, and these badges are exactly the same as the ones that are avalaible in the Explorer Scout Section.
- The Network Scout Membership Award
- The Chief Scout's Platinum Award
- The Chief Scout's Diamon Award
- The Queen's Scout Award
- The Explorer Belt
(More details of these can be found at http://www.scoutbase.org.uk/library/hqdocs/badges/explorer-index.htm)
Network scouts work by doing what their name states, they Network, they join other Scouting groups such as becoming an Adult Leader in the Beaver Scout, Cub Scout, Scout, Explorer Scout, or Support Level, they could also join Musical Bands, Duke of Edinburgh's Award, University SSAGO groups, or other organizations, the list is endless.
