Johnny Woo, real name Liu Chan Yeun, is a fictional character appearing in 2000 AD and then in Judge Dredd Megazine. Created by Gordon Rennie and PJ Holden, he is a thinly veiled stereotype of the action hero popularised by director John Woo, after whom he is named, and is based in the fictional city of Hong Tong (the 22nd century version of Hong Kong). His visual appearance is based on the actor Chow Yun-fat.

An Inspector for the Sino-Cit People's Justice Ministry, Yeun works undercover in the Hong Tong triads as Woo. This double role requires him to work both sides of the law, to the extent he is not sure which is his true role. He has a son at the Academy of People's Justice, and a wife called Soong who was also a Judge. Soong was presumed dead after an undercover mission, but turned out to still be alive as an assassin - it's unknown whether she's working for the Triads or secretly acting as assassin for the Justice Ministry.

Woo has met Judge Dredd twice. Their first meeting was during a triad mission, making him an enemy of Dredd; in the second, they were forced to be allies as part of a joint Mega-City One/Sino-Cit operation in Hong Tong.
