Scarlett Johansson (born November 22, 1984) is an American actress.

The actress is of Danish/Polish decent. She's 5"4'. She the grandaughter of writer Ejner Johansson. In 2002, Johansson graduated from The Professional Children's School in Manhattan, New York City.

Her roles include Grace MacLean in The Horse Whisperer, Rebecca in Ghost World, Charlotte in Lost in Translation, and Griet in Girl with a Pearl Earring, all of which garnered positive critical notices, as well as Francesca in The Perfect Score. She was nominated for two best actress awards at the Golden Globes in 2003, one for drama (Earring) and one for comedy (Lost); similarly, she was nominated for best actress for both films at the BAFTAs, and won best actress for Lost in Translation.
