The 2019 AFC Asian Cup, will be the 17th AFC Asian Cup. It will be held in January or July of 2019.
Host selection
The AFC announced that the host of the Asian Cup will be rotated to either West Asia or South West Asia for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. In 2009, Mohammed Bin Hammam wanted Iran to have been confirmed as the sole bidders for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. India, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain are others candidates for this cup.
