Deletion?

Why do you want your page deleted? Why is blanking and starting again not sufficient? jnothman 06:00, 4 January 2006 (UTC)

How does one 'blank' a page and what does it do? --Daniel Tanevski 06:03, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
Just edit it, remove everything that's there and start again. If an admin blanks your page, you won't be able to see its history unless you're an admin. jnothman 06:04, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
I was hoping to start over, a fresh new user page without history. --Daniel Tanevski 06:06, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
If you are very sure, I can do it, but the history doesn't really affect much. And most commonly, a user page is deleted when the user quits Misplaced Pages. This is your last warning and if you confirm, I don't see why I should refuse. jnothman 06:15, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
Thank you, you have my confirmation ... --Daniel Tanevski 06:16, 4 January 2006 (UTC)

Done. Admins can still see its history, but you shouldn't have asked for its deletion if you ever want it. In the meantime, you have a clean slate. jnothman 06:27, 4 January 2006 (UTC)

Removing discussion

Misplaced Pages etiquette asks that you do not remove discussions from talk pages except to archive them... jnothman 01:01, 5 January 2006 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:19 begalci1.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:19 begalci1.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Misplaced Pages because of copyright law (see Misplaced Pages's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Misplaced Pages are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. Jkelly 00:26, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the info Jkelly, although I'm not quite sure on this image's copyright status. Would it be worth while if I or some one else were to contact the website where this image was taken from? --Daniel Tanevski 07:42, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

Can you help me

Hey Daniel Tanevski. Since the last few weeks I was involved in a revert war on the English wikipedia on articles on cites in Northern Greece. I have continually by myself keep adding the Macedonian name of these cities right beside the Greek name in the Florina, Kastoria, Grevena, Kozani, Ptolemaida, Edessa, Greece, Kilkis, Naoussa, Nigrita, Veria, Serres, Greece, Drama, Greece, and Kavala articles. Unfortunatly, Greek users have outnumbered me are replacing Macedonian language with South Slavic, Slavic, Turkish, Bulgarian, or are deleting that part as a whole. I would deeply apreciate if you can back me up and support me on these articles. Fala, Macedonia

Hello Macedonia, it's nice to hear from you. I would be more than happy to support you with whatever problems you may be having. --Daniel Tanevski 07:42, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

OK, I've red Vlatkoto's proposal. But, I think a much better idea is to make Portal:Macedonia, just as many countries have here in Misplaced Pages. (See: Misplaced Pages:Portals). Regards - Bomac 13:46, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
